The Material Process

Hosting a PRIVATE WORKSHOP with your friends, co-workers or family has never been so easy! Our passion is to provide you and your guests a chance to unplug, unwind and connect. We not only provide a fun experience, but your guests will leave with a beautiful, handmade project they will cherish for years to come! The payment here represents a deposit to hold your date and to get started on your workshop. The cost for each individual project will be decided based on clients choice of project.

HOST RESPONSIBILITIES

As the host, you are responsible for inviting guests and making sure they register by your workshop deadline. The deadline for ALL guests to register is 3 days prior to your event.

After you submit your request and pay your deposit, we will then create a private class just for you and send you a link that you can share with your guests so that they may register for the class. All guests must book online prior to the party. If you are booking your private event several weeks out, please know that we try to send you your link about 2-3 weeks ahead of your party.

If you or your company is choosing to set up a special discount code for your group that will code will be created specifically for your workshop and can be applied at checkout. Once everyone has signed up, a final invoice will be sent-the final invoice is due 3 days prior to the party.

Private Workshops will have exclusive access to one of our instructors for 2-3 hours on the date and time you have secured. ALL guests that plan to attend MUST register by the deadline! In the event that a registered participant cannot make your class, we do not offer refunds. That guest has an option of either the participants at the party completing their project for them or having their project taken home as a kit.

Again the payment here represents a deposit to hold your date and to get started on your workshop. The cost for each individual project will be decided based on clients choice of project. Contact us to discuss further!

What is the minimum for a party?

For a teacher led class, we require a minimum of eight. If less than eight, then you could look into our DIY Home Kits as an option. Contact us to discuss other options!

Could we, Hammer & Stain Tampa, host the event?

If finding a place to have your event is a problem or even to small, we could use one of our locations to host your event. Our locations are in the Odessa, Tampa area. A rental will be added to the final bill. Ask for more details!

Can I discuss my party options and the process prior to submitting my deposit?

Yes! Give us a call to discuss your project options and how we go about our workshops.

As the host, do we need to have certain items for the workshop available?

Yes, but not many. For the host, having ample space is key. Tables and chairs are provided by the host unless otherwise agreed to with Hammer & Stain Tampa. We, H&S Tampa, will bring all items for you to work on and to complete each project.
